My review
Morning Star by Pierce Brown is a fantastic conclusion to the Red Rising trilogy. In the beginning, I didn’t think this was the type of series I would like and I was hesitant to give it a try. I’m glad I picked up the first book and am surprised by how much I enjoyed the trilogy.
The most impressive aspect of Morning Star – and the series – is Brown’s vast and creative world-building. It is imaginative, detailed, and creates a rich and immersive setting that adds depth and authenticity to the story.
The of pacing of Morning Star is fast, full of twists and turns, and kept me invested in the story from the beginning. Brown is a skillful storyteller and masterfully weaves together multiple storylines, each with its own set of challenges and betrayals, racing to a final showdown that is both thrilling and unexpected.
Overall, Morning Star is a fantastic conclusion to the Red Rising trilogy. I found the the series immensely entertaining, and though I was disappointed in the character development, I found the storyline compelling enough to keep me hooked until the very end.
My recommendation: read it! If you’re looking for a fun, easy-to-read series with a lot of action and great world-building, give this series a try.
